Programmable Retail Signage

A small retail brand needed an eye-catching sign that could change color and feel custom without buying commercial digital signage.

What I built or investigated

A fabricated illuminated sign for Beehive Cosmetics using programmable lighting, physical branding, and a retail-ready enclosure.

The work did not happen in one jump.

  1. 01

Built the visual mark and physical sign structure.

  2. 02

    Integrated color-programmable lighting.

  3. 03

Adjusted brightness and presentation for the actual retail environment.

  4. 04

Used the finished sign as part of a larger booth and product display system.

Where the project landed

A functioning branded retail display that combined electronics, fabrication, and merchandising.

What carried forward

  • Lighting behavior should be designed for the environment, not only the workbench.
  • Physical brand assets can demonstrate embedded and fabrication skill more clearly than a schematic alone.
